She stood as regal as queen, her bearing imperious. The Paragon closed the distance. The power I absorbed affected what she created. I wanted to be protected. But Prince Meinard ignored her. She stopped, battering at an unseen force. I lunged at her. Everything from the weight that held us to the ground to the esoteric channels that allowed magic in all its various forms functioned because of these spirits.
