Caitlyn struggled with addiction all her life. Caitlyn helped her big brother undress, pulled off his sneakers, socks, jeans and shirt, set those in a folded pile atop his dresser and put him to bed. Please don’t ever disappear on me. I tried to keep my head clear of everything but I couldn’t. Once Makenzie departed for bed, the darkness of their living room made for a romantic setting. But I never mentioned any of that to my sisters.
