This made me confused why is that when I told her she is pretty and validated her look and even gave her tips on her looks she did not take my advice as a close friend, but when she started dating her boyfriend all of a sudden she had to impress and changed into a completely different person. However she was always insecure with her looks, and as many times I would tell her she looked good or fine she would always complain and never really do anything to change.
