Chapter 4 – Caged
Confined to her cell, Melissa’s emotions flooded to the surface. The guard took a single handcuff attached to a chain at his belt and locked around the chain of Melissa’s handcuffs. Melissa acknowledged her and then leaned forward to look at the ethnic beauty to ask a question that was presently burning in her mind. “Yield and obey, quickly!” – said the guard. Melissa was left standing in place, breathing quite rapidly in nervous anticipation, as the guard approached the crank wheel labeled simply with a number “4”. The chains were held up by a system of pulleys that routed all of them towards the right hand wall where they disappeared into small openings.
